Pack 7 takes Youth Protection seriously. Every Pack Leader is required to take the Boy Scouts of America Youth Protection education session on a yearly basis.
As a matter of fact, we take it so seriously, that we ask that all parent/guardians of scouts in Pack 7 also take the educations session.
The Boy Scouts of America Youth Protection education session is an online session that only takes about 1/2 hour to complete. The link below will take you to the BSA website for youth protection.
You do not have to be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America to take Youth Protection training.
To take Youth Protection training go toMy.Scouting.org and create an account. You’ll receive an email notification with your account information, including a member ID/reference number.
From the My.Scouting.org portal, click Home then My Dashboard from the menu list. The My Training page displays to take Youth Protection training. Upon completion, you may print a training certificate to submit with a volunteer application. Your training will automatically be updated in our system and associated with the member ID/reference number issued when you created the account.
